I had a lovely stay! The room was comfortable with a nice rose-like smell, and the mini fridge and microwave were super handy. Just a heads up, breakfast was a bit of a letdown with limited options. I’d definitely book again!

This hotel is a perfect stop for a peaceful night. The cleanliness and comfortable beds make it easy to recharge during travels. The courteous staff enhanced our check-in experience, making us feel welcome. Its location is scenic, close to nearby attractions, perfect for exploring. Just be mindful of potential breakfast letdowns!

Absolutely horrified by the lack of breakfast. Blueberry muffins cut into quarters from the gas station every morning, and that orange juice machine? Covered in bugs! I expected some special treatment, but no welcome gifts or apologies. This place doesn’t even deserve a star, let alone a review. I almost gave it one, but just couldn’t bear the thought.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Howard Johnson By Wyndham Historic Lake Charles. The clean room smelled wonderful and the air conditioning worked perfectly, providing a much-needed respite from the summer heat. The staff was courteous and made me feel welcome right from check-in.

We had a wonderful stay with our large family, including my niece. This place is a hidden gem close to historic downtown. The rooms were spacious and super clean, and we loved the microwave, fridge, and comfy beds. Just a short drive to nearby attractions made it convenient for our family outings.

The free parking was convenient, but the laundry facilities could use an upgrade.

Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed visiting the Isle of Capri Casino and taking in the area’s natural beauty. The hotel wasn’t too far from the action and offered a cozy stay. The staff was friendly and made check-in a breeze. Definitely a good place for a fun trip.

However, our room had a few maintenance issues. The clothes hanging device was coming out of the wall, which was disappointing. It didn’t affect our overall enjoyment too much, but I hope they can address these minor problems for future guests.

The location was super convenient for food places and the Civic Center, really close to everything we wanted to check out. Staff was polite which helped ease the check-in process. Room was pretty clean, just what we needed for our stay.

It was just a fine choice for resting at all in Lake Charles with outstanding value. Park in the back to avoid the awkward front entrance during renovations.
